Personal Art Gallery

Each of the pieces below express my evaluations of the way I'd like to live my life.

Sensations

Focused on the interpretation of sensation and emotion, this piece evaluates our perspective of the world around us. On this journey of life, there are times where we become surrounded, distracted, and consumed by our emotions and sensations. It is important to me that I stay present to prevent becoming consumed by sensations.

Finite Fall

Many live their lives as if they are infinite, however, it is very important to understand that life does have an end. If life was a finite fall, would you enjoy the breeze and butterflies in your stomach, or cling to the anxiety of your finite fall?

Moments Passing

This animation is a criticism of my personal fight to focus on the present moment, rather than focusing on the past or future.

Night Drive

A nostalgic piece, meant for the viewer to fill in the gaps from their own memory. I'd urge any viewer to think about what memorable sensations this image may evoke. What does it feel like? Are the windows open? Is it a cold night? What does is smell like? This image is a memory from my childhood. A long road trip, a late and brisk night, sitting in the back of the family car, windows down, drinking a Dr. Pepper, "Day 'N' Nite" by Kid Cudi plays. I often think about the sensations that make this memory feel so positive, so that I can support that childlike joy in my present life.
