Challenge
In recent years, bp has acquired multiple companies. The business asked my team to integrate all of its acquired companies into one rewards app. Given 6 months to launch this new app, my team of 4 was tasked with designing a new brand identity and app interface that could house 4 unique brands under a single app with its own brand identity.
Process
We ran a competitor analysis, tested multiple prototype concepts and color palettes with users, collaborated closely with BP’s brand team, validated ideas with the business, and rapidly iterated toward the final direction.
Solution
Established a flexible brand direction that could accommodate multiple brands
Made the reward redemption system more intuitive
Enhanced engagement by integrating gamified elements
Outcome
Post-brand launch, the app rose to the top 5 on the App Store
500,000+ downloads on the Google Play Store
4.5+ stars on the Apple and Google app stores
